The Visual Keyboard is the Home tab of Keyfloe’s dashboard. A pixel-accurate render of your Mac keyboard. Click any key, pick what should fire on Tap and Hold. The runtime reloads instantly without an app restart.
Pick what each key does.
Open the dashboard. A pixel-accurate Mac keyboard renders on screen. Click any key, choose what should happen on Tap and on Hold. Saves instantly. No restart, no terminal, no .plist file to edit.
Keyboard remapping has always been a text-config nightmare. We made it look like your keyboard.
Every key glows with what it currently fires. No guessing, no memorising.
Tap the key on screen, pick the feature from a dropdown. Done.
Each key is two slots: one for Tap, one for Hold. One key, two actions.
Bindings persist as soon as you pick. The hotkey detector reloads on the fly.
Five modifiers, eight features. The keyboard you already have, supercharged.
The Visual Keyboard is the Home tab of Keyfloe’s dashboard. It renders a true-to-life macOS keyboard. Click any key and a panel below shows what currently fires on tap and on hold; pick a different feature and the change saves instantly.
fn, Right Option, Right Control, Right Command, and Left Control. Letter keys and disruptive modifiers (Left Command, Left Option) stay visible on the keyboard but can’t be bound — we’d break too much regular typing if we intercepted them.
The visual layer accepts up to three keys at once (FIFO drop-off if you pick a fourth). The runtime currently fires on single-key bindings; multi-key chord activation is on the roadmap.
Tap fires on a single quick press. Hold fires when you press and keep holding past about 250ms. Each gets its own action, so one key effectively becomes two — e.g. Tap = AI Chat, Hold = Dictate.
Karabiner remaps physical keys to other keys or scripts. The Visual Keyboard binds keys directly to Keyfloe workflows (chat, dictation, screen answer, rewrite, email reply) without you writing any script or remapping to a string of characters.
Not yet. Bindings live in your local UserDefaults today. Cloud sync via your Keyfloe account is on the roadmap.
